I run a small retail shop and heard about FBR’s POS integration requirements. Does it apply to me, and what are the penalties for non-compliance?

If your shop is registered for sales tax and falls under the FBR Tier-1 retailer category, POS integration is mandatory.
Tier-1 retailers include large stores, chains, and shops above certain size/electricity usage thresholds.
If you qualify but don’t integrate, FBR can impose penalties and even seal your premises.
You may also face higher sales tax rates on supplies until compliance.
It’s best to confirm your Tier-1 status with FBR to avoid fines.
