Agricultural income is exempt from FBR income tax under Section 41 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001. It is taxable only under provincial agricultural income tax laws.
You must still declare it in your FBR tax return under exempt income.
The relevant provincial tax authority for Punjab is the Punjab Board of Revenue.
Keep land ownership and income records for verification.
