I had inherited the house after Father’s death. The inheritance process was completed in 2022. Father purchased that 50 years ago. I haven’t mentioned the inheritance in return yet. We sold the house in Jan 2025. Will it be subject to capital gains tax? And if yes, what will be rate of tax? The amount was divided between 2 brothers and the mother.
