How to get sales tax registration cancellation?

I closed my business but my sales tax registration is still active. How do I apply for its cancellation with FBR?

1️⃣ If your business has been closed, you must apply for cancellation of Sales Tax Registration with FBR through the IRIS portal.
2️⃣ Log in to IRIS, go to “e-Registration” → “De-Registration/Cancellation” and select Sales Tax .
3️⃣ Provide the reason for closure, attach supporting documents (e.g., business closure proof, last utility bills, etc.).
4️⃣ FBR may conduct verification before approving cancellation.
