I have filed my wife's tax return for the first time, as she has no income. The only asset in her name is a property, which I have now declared under 'Assets' in the Wealth Statement and also under 'Capital Assets'. Previously, I had shown this property under 'Other Assets' in my own return. Since I am now submitting her return separately, do I still need to mention this property in my return as an asset held in spouse’s name?

Thanks is advance.

No, you should remove any of your wife's assets declared in your returns from your own, and mention them inside her own tax-returns.
