If you filed your 2023–2024 return in February 2025, you will be marked as a late filer for that year — meaning your name won’t appear in the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) for 2024.

To regain active filer status:

  • File your 2024–2025 tax return before 30 September 2025 (or by any extended due date announced by FBR).

  • Once submitted, the ATL will usually update within a few hours and you’ll appear as an active filer.

This is because ATL status is determined year by year — it’s not permanent once earned.

Please recheck if late filer's name will not become Active for one more year when the 2025 return is filed on time.
