Tax fraud is a serious crime that can have a significant impact on the economy. It is important to report tax fraud to the authorities so that they can investigate and take action.
There are a number of ways to report tax fraud in Pakistan. You can:
- File an online complaint with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
- Call the FBR’s helpline at 111-772-772.
- Visit your nearest FBR office in person.
- Write a letter to the FBR.
When you report tax fraud, you should provide as much information as possible, such as the name of the person or company involved, the type of fraud, and the amount of money involved. You should also keep a copy of your complaint for your records.
The FBR will investigate your complaint and take appropriate action. If tax fraud is found to have occurred, the FBR can impose penalties, such as fines or imprisonment.
Reporting tax fraud is a civic duty. By reporting tax fraud, you can help to ensure that everyone pays their fair share of taxes and that the government has the resources it needs to provide essential services.
