Key Features of the FBR Portal
- Registration: Register as a taxpayer with the FBR. Any changes in address or updating the business is done here.
- Declaration: File income tax returns and other declarations. It essentially means your Income Tax Return. It has variant of Forms depending on the nature of income and individual needs. Like Salary, Business, Simplified and then there is normal forms Business, Form for Non Residents, Statement of foreign Income, Statements for Air Craft owners etc
- Assets Declaration: Declare your assets and liabilities. Under 2019 Ordinance
- Rectification: Correct errors or omissions in your tax filings.
- Appeals: File appeals against tax assessments or penalties.
- Refund: Claim and track tax refunds. Claim compensation or claim full refund. Note: For claiming the refund a bank account must be attached before filing of the application.
- DNFBP: Declare non-filing of business or property returns.
- Withholding/Advance Tax: Manage withholding and advance tax payments. Quarterly statements are filed for WHT collected at source.
- Payments: Make online tax payments.
- Sales Tax: File sales tax returns and manage sales tax-related matters.
- IRMS: Access the Integrated Revenue Management System.
- Invoice Management: Manage invoices and e-invoicing.
- MIS: Access management information systems.

Filing Income Tax Returns
