Lahore, Pakistan: The Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has taken significant strides to expand its reach and improve tax collection in the province. The recent operationalization of offices in Kasur and Sheikhupura, along with the existing office in Bahawalpur, marks a significant expansion of the PRA’s footprint.
This expansion aims to bring the PRA closer to taxpayers, making it easier for them to file returns, pay taxes, and seek assistance. The new offices will also help the PRA to identify and address tax evasion and avoidance more effectively.
The PRA plans to establish offices in nine more districts in the coming months, further strengthening its presence across Punjab. By decentralizing its operations, the PRA aims to improve tax compliance and boost revenue collection. PK Revenue
The expansion of the PRA is expected to have a positive impact on the province’s economy by providing the government with additional resources to fund public services and infrastructure development.
