Quetta, Balochistan – The Government of Balochistan has established the Balochistan Sales Tax on Services Appellate Tribunal in accordance with the Balochistan Sales Tax on Services Act, 2015.
The establishment of the tribunal was announced in a notification issued on December 24, 2021, by the Finance Department. The tribunal will serve as an appellate body for taxpayers to challenge decisions made by the Balochistan Revenue Authority (BRA) regarding sales tax on services. Balochistan Revenue Authority
The notification was released by Abdul Rehman Buzdar as the Secretary Finance, responsible for overseeing the tribunal’s operations. The Controller of the Government Printing Press, Balochistan, Quetta, has been tasked with publishing the notification in the next issue of the Balochistan Gazette.
Copies of the notification have been sent to various government departments and officials, including the Additional Chief Secretary (Development), the Senior Member Board of Revenue, the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, the Principal Secretary to the Governor, all Administrative Secretaries, the Registrar of the Balochistan High Court, and the Chairman of the Balochistan Revenue Authority.
