Director General Fouzia Iqbal has warned that tax evasion will not be tolerated. She urged non-compliant taxpayers to cooperate with the KPRA and ensure complete tax compliance to avoid legal action.

Iqbal emphasized that KPRA teams will not only confiscate records but may also resort to more severe measures such as attaching bank accounts or sealing businesses if taxpayers continue to evade taxes.

To avoid such actions, registered persons who have failed to fulfill their tax obligations are advised to settle their tax liabilities promptly. This includes depositing any due taxes, issuing proper sales tax invoices, and accurately reporting their sales.
