Updating Through Iris (Online Portal):
The FBR’s online tax filing portal, Iris, offers a user-friendly platform for modifying your information. Here’s what you can do:
- Log in to Iris: Access your Iris account with your existing credentials.
- Navigate to Update Information: Locate the section dedicated to updating personal details.
- Use Registration Form 181 (Modification): This form facilitates changes to specific details.
Details You Can Modify Through Iris:
- Mobile Number: Ensure your contact information is current for important updates.
- Email Address: Update your email address to receive notifications and communication from the FBR.
- Personal/Residential Address: Keep your residential address accurate for tax purposes.
- Business Address (if applicable): If you own a business, update your business address as needed.
- Addition of Business Branches: Add details of any new business branches you establish.
- Legal Representative (Section 87): If applicable, update information on your legal representative as defined by the Income Tax Ordinance 2001.
- Bank Account: Ensure your bank account details are accurate for any tax refunds or payments.
