To check your mobile device’s compliance and PTA taxes, follow these steps:

Step 1: Find Your Device’s IMEI Number

  1. Dial *#06# on your phone.
  2. A 15-digit IMEI number will appear on your screen.

Step 2: Use the SMS Method

  1. Open your messaging app.
  2. Type the 15-digit IMEI number.
  3. Send the message to 8484.
  4. You will receive an SMS with the status of your device, including taxes or duties.

Alternatively, you can use the PTA DIRBS Portal to check your device’s status online.
