ByLahore, Pakistan:The Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO) has summoned the Member Operations-IR and Member Customs Operations of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to appear before the FTO Lahore office on Monday, October 14, 2024.
The summons are in response to a complaint alleging that FBR field offices and fraudsters are involved in selling non-customs duty paid products.
The FTO has previously directed the FBR to initiate disciplinary proceedings against officers responsible for failing to submit comments in a similar case. Business Recorder
