Islamabad, Pakistan: The Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO) has launched a dedicated taxpayer facilitation desk at its headquarters in collaboration with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to assist taxpayers with filing their income tax returns.
The desk will provide in-person assistance to taxpayers facing issues with the online filing system, password retrieval, or other tax-related matters. The FTO hopes to alleviate the burden on taxpayers and ensure that they can meet the extended deadline of October 14, 2024. PK Revenue
The FTO encourages taxpayers to visit the facilitation desk for personalized guidance and support. The desk will be staffed by trained FBR officials who are equipped to address tax-related inquiries and provide assistance.
This initiative is part of the FTO’s ongoing efforts to improve the taxpayer experience and ensure that individuals and businesses can comply with their tax obligations efficiently.
