BySheikhupura, Pakistan:ÂThe Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has released notification S.R.O. 1711(I)/2024, announcing a revision of the fair market values for immovable properties in Sheikhupura District, effective November 1, 2024. This new valuation supersedes the rates set forth in S.R.O. 1602(I)/2022, dated August 24, 2022.
This adjustment, made under the authority of sub-section (4) of section 68 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, is intended to ensure that property valuations are in line with current market trends, thereby enhancing transparency and accuracy in real estate transactions throughout Sheikhupura.
