Sahiwal, Pakistan:ÂThe Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced notification S.R.O. 1675(I)/2024, which revises the fair market values for immovable properties in Sahiwal District, effective November 1, 2024. This new valuation supersedes the previous rates set forth in S.R.O. 1255(I)/2022, dated August 1, 2022.
This adjustment, made under sub-section (4) of section 68 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, aims to ensure that property valuations reflect current market realities, enhancing transparency and accuracy in real estate transactions within Sahiwal.
