FBR Updates Property Valuation for Chiniot

Chiniot Pakistan:The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced new fair market values for immovable properties in Chiniot District through notification S.R.O. 1685(I)/2024. Effective November 1, 2024, these updated rates apply to residential, commercial, and agricultural properties across the district.

This adjustment, made under sub-section (4) of section 68 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, aims to align property assessments in Chiniot with current market conditions, fostering greater transparency and accuracy in real estate transactions.
