FBR Updates Fair Market Value of Immovable Properties in Jhelum

Jhelum, Pakistan:The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has released an updated notification (S.R.O. 1695(I)/2024) establishing revised fair market values for immovable properties in Jhelum District, effective November 1, 2024. This new valuation replaces the previous rates under S.R.O. 1270(I)/2022, dated August 1, 2022.

These adjustments, made under sub-section (4) of section 68 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, aim to reflect current market values accurately, enhancing fairness in property transactions across Jhelum District.
