Streamlining Your Sales Tax Registration with SRB’s Online Portal
Ready to register for sales tax with the Sindh Revenue Board (SRB)? Here’s a step-by-step guide to make the process as smooth as possible. SRB’s user-friendly online portal, eSRB, empowers you to complete the registration process efficiently from the comfort of your workspace.
Here’s how to navigate your registration journey:
Visit the eSRB Portal: Begin by visiting the eSRB portal at https://e.srb.gos.pk.
Initiate Registration:
- Click on the “e-Registration” button.
- Select “New e-Registration” to commence the process.
Enter Your NTN (National Tax Number):
- Input your NTN to proceed.
- The system will intelligently retrieve your registration details from FBR, saving you time and effort.
Complete the Registration Form:
- Verify the pre-filled information and meticulously fill in any additional required fields.
- Provide details regarding your agents, directors/shareholders, business activities, branches, bank account, and more.
- Double-check the accuracy of all entered information before proceeding.
Verification and Submission:
- Verify your application using your CNIC/NTN/PP.
- Upon successful verification, submit your application.
Await Confirmation and Activate Your Account:
- You’ll receive your USER ID and PASSWORD via email or SMS.
- Complete the e-enrollment process to activate your account and unlock all the services offered by SRB.
Additional Considerations:
No Record Found for Your NTN: If the system doesn’t locate a record for your NTN, double-check its accuracy and check digit. If the issue persists, contact support for assistance.
Applying Without an NTN: SRB will grant you a Provisional Registration Certificate, valid for 30 days or until you receive your NTN from FBR. You’ll have access to the same facilities as other registered taxpayers during this period.
