The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has authorized private Hajj organizing companies to begin bookings for Hajj 2025. Private Hajj scheme bookings will be open from January 10 to 31, according to a ministry spokesperson. Details of various packages have been published on the ministry’s official website, offering options for pilgrims.
Basic Hajj packages range from Rs1.1 million to Rs2.15 million, while premium packages exceeding Rs3 million require approval from the Hajj Policy Formulation Committee. Private operators are mandated to adhere to the Service Provider Agreement (SPA) for all bookings. Operators offering packages above Rs3 million must submit complete details of the package during the approval process.
Furthermore, transactions involving packages over Rs3 million will be reported to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and other authorities to ensure transparency. Pilgrims opting for private packages are urged to verify the registration of their chosen company through the ministry’s website or the ‘Pak Hajj’ mobile application.
The ministry has emphasized caution in financial dealings, advising pilgrims to make payments exclusively through the company’s official bank account. Additionally, a signed service agreement must be obtained for the selected package to safeguard against potential disputes or fraud.
