ByIslamabad, Pakistan: A total of 9,290 Tier-1 retailers have registered with the Tajir Dost Scheme, an initiative by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to bring retailers into the tax net.
The FBR has added 160 new retailers to the Point of Sales (POS) system in October 2024. However, tax payments under the scheme remain low, with only Rs. 1.3 million collected from 575 shops. Pro Pakistani
