Azam highlighted the department’s efforts to leverage digital solutions to improve accessibility and reduce the reliance on intermediaries. He emphasized the importance of citizens utilizing the department’s online services to streamline processes and promote transparency.

The department has introduced several initiatives to improve service delivery, including:

  • Mobile registration vans: The department offers mobile registration vans that can be scheduled to visit residents’ homes or offices.
  • Online token tax payment: Residents can now pay their token tax using the Islamabad Citizen App.
  • Stricter enforcement: The department is actively monitoring and enforcing regulations related to tinted windows and fancy number plates.
