The plan, developed by FBR officials and experts, focuses on utilizing technology, rewarding efficient officers, and strengthening tax enforcement. The plan aims to facilitate honest taxpayers while taking action against those who evade taxes or engage in fraudulent activities.
The prime minister emphasized the importance of the FBR as the backbone of Pakistan’s economy and highlighted the need for increased revenue to improve public services. He directed the FBR to consult with prominent taxpayers and seek approval for necessary amendments to implement the plan effectively.
